摘要:
Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) are brief, bright, cosmological radio flashes of mysterious origin. With global surveys, we now have around 1,000 detected FRB sources and 10,000 bursts from well-known repeaters, making it the right time to dive into FRB statistics. In this talk, I will present analyses that reveal hidden repetition and correlations in FRB data. First, using CHIME data, we show that over 50% of apparent non-repeaters may actually repeat, suggesting a high repeater prevalence. Second, we explore time-frequency correlations in burst pairs, finding evidence of a universal downward frequency shift in aftershocks. These findings offer new insights into FRB models and the nature of these mysterious bursts.
