摘要:
New results from the James Webb Space Telescope are revolutionizing our understanding of galaxies and black holes. I will talk about a surprising new class of accreting black holes that are 100 times more common than black hole populations known at high redshift before the JWST era. These so-called little red dots show extreme black hole to galaxy ratios, and are in place at very early times. I will talk about the challenges for models to understand this population, as well as next steps.
