Unraveling Pulsar Wind Nebulae: A Multi-Wavelength Perspective Pulsar Wind Nebulae (PWNe) are created when the high-energy wind emitted by a pulsar collides with the surrounding medium, forming a complex structure emitting radiation from radio waves to gamma rays. These nebulae serve as nearby laboratories for investigating the intricate interactions between relativistic particles and magnetic fields in extreme environments accessible for detailed observation. They are believed to be significant sources of cosmic rays and potential sources of the excess positrons observed near Earth. Therefore, understanding the role of PWNe in generating antimatter particles is essential for solving this cosmic puzzle.
