摘要：
A significant fraction of white dwarfs exhibit signs of ongoing accretion
of refractory elements. This effect might be maintained by a steady
state injection of solid bodies from an Oort cloud-like cometary reservoir followed by circularization and orbital decay and tidal breakup.
