How can we better prepare ourselves for the coming challenges? This is the frequently ask question as the unknown situation or future face us. Each institute has its own rhythm, so do the different work fields. Rhythms define how we interact within our institutes, colleagues and companies. Industry such as computer and information technology/ engineering pays more attention on product deployment and new business than development only. Next generation productions, in fact, are developed and unveiled from the jointed basic academic researches. As the graduate students or Ph. D candidates, how you find your rhythm and do as much as preparations you can? In this talk, there will be some personal experiences sharing on academic and industrial career path.
