摘要:
The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment is one of two large general-purpose detectors at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. The LHC Run-2 was successfully concluded in the end of 2018. An incredible amount of data was collected the CMS experiment. In this colloquium talk, I will present the experimental challenges we faced and also the performance of the CMS detectors in the Run-2. I will also give highlights of the physics analysis results on the Standard Model measurements and Higgs physics done by the members of the high energy physics group at NCU. Our future plans for the physics analyses and detector upgrade will also be discussed.
