摘要:
A typical QSO spectrum usually shows blue color. Recently, however, a group of QSOs is discovered with red color. These QSOs are considered to be reddened by cold dust. We investigate the properties of a sample of red QSOs using SDSS, VLA, and WISE data at z=0.3-1.2. We found that red QSOs have stronger infrared emission than typical QSOs, indicating that the redness might be contributed by warm dust. Besides, the red QSOs at lower redshifts and at higher redshifts show different properties. These suggest that there might be at least two types of red QSOs in our QSO samples. One type might be related to dust-obscured red QSOs, but the other type might not be.
