摘要:
Solar flare is one of the most explosive phenomena in the solar system that huge energy is released in a very short time. It is generally believed that the magnetic reconnection in the corona is responsible for the magnetic energy release and particle acceleration in solar flares. The accelerated electrons can emit gyrosynchrotron radiation in the millimeter/sub-millimeter range and produce bremsstrahlung hard X-ray (HXR) as they travel along the magnetic field downward to hit the chromosphere. On the other hand, the HXR and radio emissions directly from the corona are also observed, which is regarded to be much closer to the acceleration region. In this talk, I will introduce the solar flare research particular in the HXR and radio ranges, as well as the potential ALMA solar flare observations.
